To verify a Roblox email address, sign in, open Settings → Account Info → Add Email, then finish the instructions sent to your inbox. Before starting, decide which inbox you will continue using. This is a useful moment to check the account’s recovery details, especially if an old school address or a parent’s former email has been involved.
Choose an inbox you actually control
Use your own address or an appropriate parent’s address. Roblox warns that adding another person’s email can let that person receive password-reset messages. Roblox: Keep Your Account Safe.
Open the chosen inbox before changing anything. Check that you know how to access it without relying solely on the browser session already open. An inbox that appears on your phone but whose password you no longer know may become difficult to reach after replacing that phone.

Complete verification in the right account
- Check the username of the Roblox account currently open.
- Open Account Info and start the email-addition flow.
- Carefully enter the address you chose, checking spelling before submitting.
- Switch to that inbox and locate the confirmation message associated with this attempt.
- Follow the message’s instructions, then return to Account Info and review the result.
This checklist expands the official procedure into practical checkpoints; the exact screen text may differ. Keep the two windows organized. An address is already there, but it is wrong
Use the email-update flow rather than trying to create a second identity. Roblox’s documented path is Account Info → Update Email; it asks for the new address and current Roblox password, then sends instructions to the new inbox. The former address receives a change alert. The email never arrives

Make a note of the address entered and which screen you used. You do not need to record a private code. If you later ask for help, “I added an email in Account Info but the confirmation did not arrive” describes the problem far more clearly than “Roblox login is broken.”
Check what verification enables
A verified email can be used with your account password to sign in. If Roblox says that the email belongs to multiple usernames, use the specific username and password instead. Do not treat successful email verification as the end of account protection. It confirms this recovery contact; it does not answer where your backup details are stored or whether another device remains signed in.
