Roblox Quick Login lets a device already signed into your account approve a new device. On the new device, select Log In with Another Device. On the signed-in device, open Settings → Quick Login, enter the displayed code, review the request, and approve it only if it is yours. Roblox: Quick Login.
Both devices have a role. Calling them the “new device” and “signed-in device” makes the process easier to follow than switching between several browser windows without knowing which one is authorizing access.
Check the two devices first
- The signed-in device should show the Roblox account you actually want to use.
- The new device should be one you intend to give access to.
- Keep the devices near each other and the relevant screens visible.
- Start the request yourself; do not copy a code sent by another person.
Quick Login codes last five minutes; proximity and availability requirements apply. Roblox: Quick Login. Begin a fresh request if the code expires.
Approve the request deliberately
Read the final approval, labeled Grant Full Account Access. Roblox: Quick Login. This is a login authorization.
A useful checkpoint is to ask yourself which physical device will receive access after you press the button. If your answer is “I am not sure” or “someone sent me this,” stop. The code should have come from the new-device screen you just opened.
After approval, check the username on the new device. If a different family account was open on the authorizing phone, completing the process smoothly would not make it the right account. Resolve identity first instead of changing passwords in the account you opened by mistake.
The code expired or the QR route failed
Return to the new device and start a fresh attempt. Keep one request active at a time. That avoids confusing a code from an abandoned tab with the one currently shown.
For QR problems, check app updates and the scanning device’s login, or use the character-code route. Roblox: Quick Login.
Quick Login and email codes are different
An email one-time code is requested through its own login option and delivered to a verified inbox. Roblox instructs users to enter that code on the device that requested it. Roblox: Logging In with a One-Time Code. A Quick Login code shown on a new device should not be confused with that email flow.
If the screen is waiting for mail, use the missing-email guide. If the other device asks you to approve access, stay with the Quick Login flow. Matching the instruction to the screen is more useful than repeatedly trying every number you can find.
Someone asked you to approve their code
Do not approve it. Roblox warns against unofficial login requests. Roblox: Keep Your Account Safe. A promised item does not change what authorization does.
Unwanted access can be ended through the session controls. Roblox: Session Management. See our session guide and compromised-account checklist.
When Quick Login is unavailable
Use a sign-in method actually offered on your device. Do not assume the missing button means your account was deleted. Availability depends on the current platform and account experience, and official documents do not consistently describe every platform combination. Record which device lacks the option if you need assistance.
