How to Check Roblox Transactions and Explain a Balance Change

Use Roblox’s transaction history to find the action behind a balance change. Start with the account that made the purchase and the type of transaction you expect. A current balance alone cannot explain whether you bought currency, spent it on an item, received something, or were looking at a different account earlier.

On the website, select the Robux icon and then the displayed amount to open My Transactions. Roblox provides filters such as Summary, Currency Purchases, Purchases, and other relevant transaction types. Purchases covers virtual items and passes. Roblox: Where are my Robux?

Begin with a specific question

Write down what you are trying to establish before opening several pages. โ€œWhere did this amount go?โ€ is a starting point; โ€œDid this account buy the hat I selected yesterday?โ€ is easier to investigate. Include the approximate date, product name, and amount you remember.

Confirm the username at the top of the account first. If several family members share a browser, note the account in your private record. A receipt attached to a parent’s email does not remove the need to establish which Roblox account received the purchase.

Choose the filter that matches the event

Use the Summary to orient yourself, then narrow the list to the kind of event you are investigating. Compare a currency purchase with the record of buying currency, and an item purchase with the record of spending it. Do not assume that a single filter represents every kind of account activity.

Roblox also lists separate transaction categories for membership allowances, sales, creator rewards, and payouts where applicable. Roblox: Where are my Robux?

If the expected entry is absent, check the period and category shown before concluding that the record is missing. Search systematically: one account, one likely period, then the relevant types. Take notes so you do not keep repeating the same search.

Keep real money, credit, and Robux separate

Write the unit beside every number you record. A charge in local currency, a credit balance, and a Robux amount should not be added together as if they were the same thing. If you are helping a child, ask them to describe the purchase screen rather than just saying how much they spent.

Gift-card credit has its own browser display and can be used toward a Robux purchase. Roblox: Managing and spending your Roblox Credit

For a gift-card question, use our redemption guide alongside transaction history. Establish the redemption result first, then look for any later purchase. This keeps a successful gift redemption from being mistaken for an item purchase that never happened.

Reconstruct a balance without guessing

Use a short private worksheet with four columns: date, description, amount, and what the record proves. Start from a balance you actually recorded, then add incoming amounts and subtract outgoing amounts for the same period and unit.

For example, suppose your own notes show a starting balance of 500 Robux and two confirmed purchases of 75 and 40 Robux. With no other activity in that example, the expected remainder is 385 Robux. That is arithmetic for checking records, not a claim about a Roblox price or fee.

If your result differs from the current balance, do not invent a missing transaction to make it match. Recheck the account, time range, and unexamined categories. State the remaining difference clearly if you need help.

Match a purchase record to what you expected to receive

Roblox distinguishes Marketplace items from products sold within experiences, so the place to find the result depends on what was bought. Roblox: Where is the item I just bought with Robux?

Open the exact product page when available and compare it with the transaction name. A purchase record can help establish the event, while the description helps establish the expected result. If the question is a wearable product, use our missing-avatar-item guide for the inventory checks.

Do not buy the item again simply because the first search did not locate it. First decide whether the problem concerns the purchase, the product type, or where you are looking for the result.

Prepare evidence for a billing problem

For a product bought with money that is not applied, Roblox asks for the username, device, purchase date, and product. Its instructions describe sending a receipt after the support acknowledgment. Roblox: Where is the item I just bought with money?

Keep a concise timeline and distinguish confirmed facts from your recollection. Include the relevant transaction or receipt, but do not send unrelated account history when it does not help. Use the official support conversation for requested purchase information.

If you discover purchases you do not recognise, stop making changes long enough to preserve the records, then review account access with our security checklist. Transaction history is most useful when it leads to a precise next step rather than an assumption about what must have happened.
